how can severe endometriosis affect a woman's ability to become pregnant?

Kristina - June 26th, 2010 5:30 PM

I found this for you Wells.

"Studies have shown that a woman with endometriosis is less likely to conceive than a woman without. Statistics say that 20% of women who have endometriosis and are trying to conceive will not succeed. So, for every 100 women with endometriosis who are trying to conceive, 80 of them will not have problems getting pregnant."

So i guess there's hope!

Hope is important when you want to get pregnant. Stress and depression are common when you are trying to get pregnant. I understand that women need hope inorder to go on with treatments.

this is when there are endometrial linings in different parts of the womb right?

you know it's alright as long as there is still hope. It's very important not to lose hope during infertility treatments.

I hear that when you suffer from this the cramps can be very painful.

But as long as there is still some chance, women with endometriosis can hope.
