Is amenorrhea a sign of infertility problem in women? Is there still a chance for a woman with amennorhea to get pregnant?

Lorainne_O - June 30th, 2010 4:33 PM

amenorhea is skipping periods right. well it can be hard to predict when the woman is fertile but I think this can be corrected with hormone therapy.

makes sense. so how is amenhorrea treated? I am guessing through birth control pills?

Ronnie - July 3rd, 2010 3:46 AM

usual treatment for amenorrhea is proper diet and nutrition. some women are also adviced to lose weight, stop smoking or drinking, reducing stress and in some cases birth control pills. surgery is also sometimes needed if fibroids need to be removed.

amenorhea is a treatable condition. it can be treated by regularizing the menstrual cycle through birth control pills. i guess the losing weight is also a no brainer since overweight people tend to miss their periods.

Yes, but it can be cured, just be consistent in so doing your medication session.

This can be cured but the only thing that must be done is to consult a doctor whose field of specialization is focus to this kind of illness, and through the doctor's guidance you have to know the right things to do.

luckily periods can be normalized through hormone supplements. i understand how frustrating it is to try and get pregnant but not have regular periods as this is my partner's problem.

It is needed that the woman having an amenorrhea should submit to a doctor. Don't under estimate this kind of disability because it might heighten the problem, even if it is said that it can be treated.

so it is not insurmountable and wont need operation? this is good news!

if you have no period this can be corrected with hormones. I know that women who have PCOS usually suffer from this and they are also adviced to lose weight.
