I've been reading a lot about anti-ovarian antibodies in this forum. My question is: can this be tested?

This usually happens to women who have had two or more unsuccessful IVF treatments.

Treatment for Anti-Ovarian Antibodies is hormone replacement therapy where the hormones administered stimulate ovarian follicles to grow and produce eggs. Some are treated with immunosuppressant therapy.

Test is done through a blood sample. They get some blood and have it tested in lab. usually people with thyroid disease have anti ovarian antibodies.

Treatment for this has not yet proven effective..mostly, it is found out that auto antibody to albumin is likely responsible agent for false positivity.

This kind of medication I think is costly, and it can 't really give us an assurance that it can really cure and help us to have fertility.

i think you can be tested for antibodies for anti-ovarian antibodies via a blood test. :D

ahhh... this sounds something from the twilight zone. but on the otherhand at least it can be treated with medication. My worry has always been that I would get something that would be beyond medicine or technology to heal.
