Yes, there are lots of women with heart problems can safely get pregnant and can still even deliver a perfectly normal child. But there are also some cardiac conditions that are really serious and I think it's the doctor's decisions to let the get pregnant or not. |

Giving birth is stressful to the mother. If she has a heart ailment then the physical activity of pushing the baby out will only stress here even more. Most women who have serious heart problems are advised not to have kids. This is just natural selection I guess since some heart ailments are hereditary. |

if the doctor gives the go, then i would trust the doctor. maybe the baby can be born via c-section and the mom can have it easy during the pregnancy. it's up to your doctor and of course its a personal choice too. |
