It is considered infertile if a woman is younger than 30, and has no major problems and still trying to conceive for a year and woman who is younger than 30 and already has health problems should see a doctor immediately for infertility treatment. |

One can be considered infertile if she is not ovulating on a regular bases and don't get pregnant for a year or more, even if having unprotected sex. |
|

Well, for me, those who are not capable of getting pregnant are sure to be considered infertile. |
|

Infertile is not getting pregnant despite trying for at least 1 year to get pregnant without birth control. |

Not being able to carry full term can be a sign of infertility. Perhaps the woman has low progesterone levels which contributes to her inability to carry the baby for the whole 9 months. |

I agree with sk8 in most spontaneous abortion cases, the woman has low progesterone levels. As we know, progesterone levels increase as the pregnancy advances. If it stays low then there is a possiblity of abortion. |

I think those couples who are not being able to conceive after a year of unprotected sex.And yes, those women who have experience repeated miscarriages. |
|

not necessarily infertile, but she has infertility issues. while miscarriges are not uncommon. But frequently losing babies means that there is an underlying problem. |
|

not really. there are other factors. if you are having sex w/o protection for the last year, then there is a problem. if you are over 35 having unprotected sex for the last 6 mos then you might also have a problem. |

Yes, having to experience multiple miscarriages are really sign for infertility problem. |
