Do you use depo provera? If you are planning to get pregnant I suggest you get off this birth control at once. Some women are able to get pregnant immediately but for some it makes them temporarily infertile. It can take as long as 2 years before its effects truly wears off.

yep. depo has been linked to fertility issues. my sister did not get her period for almost a year after quitting depo! i would rather use condoms or BCP than depo!

all contraceptives have its own side effect and side effects cannot be anticipated. If you experience some change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can say whether using depo provera is safe to use or not.

Depo provera is given by a doctor. Depo provera should not be taken when a woman suspects that she's pregnant especially when a woman experience a vaginal bleeding.

Depo has gotten a lot of bad news lately. Not only can it delay your period severely, it can cause other problems like stroke. There has been lots of debate about Depo and one should always be aware before taking any form of contraceptive.

My older sister was on Depo till she noticed that she did not have her period 14 months after stopping. She was so scared and warned me not to take Depo.

I thought Depo was taken off the market? I think it was even before Yaz and Yasmin?
