I feel so helpless now that i'm pregnant. I know we have to be extra careful but still it's like i have to rely on everyone. Can't do this, can't do that. I want to put the tree up and i only need to go up the ladders to get it out of the loft, but i know i can't do that either.

i feel so dependent and can do on my own :(

I'm loving that part of it! I've gotten out of so many chores!!!! DH let me get a housekeeper so I won't be exposed to cleaning chemicals!!!!
Enjoy it while you can. Before you know it, we'll be back to normal.

it can be so frustrating at times, esp when u feel well enough to carry on as normal, the thing is u can generally do what u did before as long as ur careful, obviously there will be some things u should avoid, like cli, mbing up a ladder unless there is no other choice but its only to be on the safe side, god forbid u did and fell !! Think of it as as rest from the heavyer side of life lol, only 15 more weeks to go

my wife now 9weeks pregnant felt the same way too... coz i'm too careful for her ;D

I can't say as it's stopped me doing anything or did last time?

The only thing I didnt do was lift really heavy stuff...I still had to put rubbish in the wheely bin at 9 months though so couldnt avoid it all.

I was walking around on tables at work stretching and putting up paper on a notice board for a display at 7 months.

Yeah getting up on a ladder may not be the wisest thing to do but why let being pg stop you doing something as long as you are careful?

You arent made of fine porcelain.

I see where your coming from i hate not being able to be the very active person i was im still very active but lifting wise and carring things! lol But i will milk every minute i can not caring stuff and being pampered lol!

Must be the snow coz I was thinking of getting up the ladder for my tree too BUT don't think i'll bother lol blizzard conditions outside so an ambulance wouldn't get here if I did something stupid.

I don't mind getting out of doing some chores, but I feel so frustrated at how little energy I've had, and how hard it is to do some things lately. I get jealous of women who get a lot done, and feel like it reflects on me--that I'm fat & lazy now!

Dh is wonderful and keeps telling me I'm doing the most important thing, but I'm bored and antsy about all the things I want to get done, but can't.

i love getting out of the chores bit but the weekend gone i have just moved house so its been left up to my mum and OH to clear all my stuff which has been very stressful as i just want to feel settled now and have my familiar stuff around me (OH and i are staying at mothers for 6 weeks to save some money and then im moving in with OH who lives 2 hours away, i need to work thats why i havent moved yet) nothing important has gone missing or thrown by mistake i do feel quite in limbo though not being able to nest. grrrr im trying to keep calm for bubba though!! i miss my own space and sky tv!
