The fimbria are the finger like structures in the fallopian tubes that sweep or coax the egg inside it. The cillia are tiny hairs in the fallopian tube help transport the egg to the womb.

What are common diseases for the fimbria and cillia that cause infertility issues?

I dont know if there are diseases for this specifically but perhaps those with fallopian tube failure have this kind of abnormalities in them.

I agree. Perhaps it is a malfunction in the fallopian tubes.

Maybe the fingers do not sweep and the hair do not carry. I dunno what the cause is.

Well,I have really no idea what is fimbria and cilia..but, i guess, have to asked my doctor about it because I'm now already curious on what are these especially if they brought some diseases.

Ive seen videos of the fimbria and cilla in action. They really look like fingers sweeping the egg into the fallopian tube.

The cilla are very small hairs that seem to pass on the egg to each other.

I saw a cool video of ovulation in YouTube. I think I found the link here. Anyway, just search for this video in YouTube.

I looked it up on Youtube and the fimbria actually look like fingers! You're right, creepy and cool at the same time.
