I heard the doctor recommend one of the patients a procedure called a follopscopy. What does it do?

Maybe it has something to do with the fallopian tubes. perhaps it is done to check if there are any blockages and such?

I thought it was a procedure to unblock the fallopian tubes?

if not, then what is the difference between a Laparoscopy and a falloscopy?

Appleo.O - September 5th, 2010 3:53 AM

Not sure about a falloscopy but a Laparoscopy involves exploring all the reproductive organs and not just a specific part.

isnt folloscpopy the procedure that removes the blockages in the fallopian tube?

SK8 - September 10th, 2010 3:35 AM

ive never heard of a folloscopy and judging from the answers most of us have not heard of it too...
