herpes is a kind of STD that lasts a lifetime. Does this mean that you will have fertility problems?

Fhina - July 8th, 2010 1:08 PM

Usually, herpes is common and mild condition. Yes, if it's not treated immediately, it can cause to infertility problems.

I don't think so. It's just a common virus that can't cause infertility. But herpes can cause complications on your baby if you are having sexual contact with partner with herpes.

It means that you can pass the disease to your child. this is why protecting yourself during intercourse is the safer and saner option.

It is a kind of disease that may affect fertility, so it can not be able to conceive... Hope may be the remedy for this!

This is one of the dangers of STD. While you may be able to have children there's always the danger of passing it on to your child. Having STD is like living with a stigma. Can you really do that to an innocent child?

Michael_ArchAngel - October 24th, 2010 3:25 AM

No, but there is a danger that you can pass this on to your offspring. Not to mention that there can be instances of outbreaks.

I remember a saying: "A one night stand lasts a night, STD lasts a lifetime!"...LOL!

dianne - October 27th, 2010 10:25 AM

That's why before you want to have a one night stand, think a thousand times so that you will not regret a one mistake for a lifetime.
