We all think that infertility i usually age related. but young women get infertility problems too. I have a clinic-mate (we go to the same dr) who is 28 and already TTC for 3 years. They have low motility (husband) and she has endometriosis.

It is because having infertility problems is really not focus only on age factor, there are other factors that contributes to it.

menchie - October 12th, 2010 3:09 AM

Yes, probably it's not about the age factor..their is something more to her infertility. I think it's good that you advised her to see a doctor.

helen - October 13th, 2010 3:43 AM

I think, she inherited the infertility problem..or it's in their genes?LOL!

xXxNANxXx - October 15th, 2010 3:38 AM

infertility hurts when you are young. i know somebody too who is in her 20's and is already experiencing problems with infertility. i think it is more painful for them compared to women who are already 35+.

knight214 - October 16th, 2010 2:18 AM

I agree. You get more fertility problems as you get older, but when you are young, you expect everything to work out fine. I am really sad for young couples who are struggling with infertility.

SuperMom - October 21st, 2010 3:23 AM

when you're young the last think you think about is getting sick.

tonette - October 24th, 2010 2:06 AM

That's right. It's because when your young, you are still full of energy and your body is very much active. But it's sad to say there are still others who are sick and experience lot's of problems and diseases including infertility problems at a very young age.

Hope4Ever - October 24th, 2010 3:13 AM

I have heard of cases of infertility in young men and women.

I agree that when you are young, things like these dont usually worry you which is why it is harder for them to accept their infertility issues.

I know what you mean! When I was younger getting pregnant or problems getting pregnant were the least of my worries. A cold is shurgged off and I even went to work even if I had a slight fever|!

Would you say that the cases of infertility amoung young men and women is higher now compared to previous years?
By what percentage has it risen over the years?
Is it becoming a trend or rising exponentially?

JosiePearson - January 29th, 2011 4:11 PM

it would seem that the infertility problem has spread more today than the olden times. I guess it all boils down to being too careless with one's health
