I have an inverted uterus and I like to know if anyone has the same problem as mine and underwent some medications or surgery that corrected such. Thanks for any help.

Inverted uterus is not much of a problem with regards to pregnancy. Your only concern is the conception. You just have to work hard on it, like looking for a certain position and right timing to conceive and once it is united then the normal pregnancy will follow.

Thanks Patricia. You mean to say I don't need to undergo any surgical procedure with this?

WHAT IS INVERTED UTERUS? IS IT INBORN?

saLLy - May 30th, 2010 12:01 AM

yes we can consider it as inborn. an inverted uterus means that the uterus of the woman is completely in reverse position of the normal position and it does not need any surgical procedure for it will just correct itself once pregnant and will return to its inverted position after delivery.

Very informative. I really thought that a woman with inverted uterus is absolutely incapable of getting pregnant.

That made me feel normal. So, if that is the case then the only thing to focus is to conceive and everything will follow. Thanks again.

how is it able to correct itself normally? when the woman gets pregnant the uterus suddenly gets right side up?

exactly missy, some kind of a mystery but it is true. i even searched about it and that is the only explanation given as sally shared.
