Is it possible for women to have a short luteal phase? how can this affect fertility? What is the treatment for this one?

A short luteal phase can make it hard for a woman to get pregnant. Luteal phase refers to the time after ovulation wherein the body acts like an incubator for the prospective embryo. If the phase is short, then the ideal time for implantation of the embryo is also short.

in my understanding from the above statement. If you have a short luteal phase then timing for conception is going to be tricky.

Speaking of implantation it is a the process in which the blastocyst attaches itself to the endometrium, the inner lining of the uterus richly supplied with blood vessels.

Does it follow that if you have a short luteal phase, you also have a short menstrual cycle?

luteal phase defect is the main culprit for early miscarriages, and as i have learned "miscarriage can be a cause of infertility".
