good thing is that if it was irregular menstrual periods it can be regulated by normalizing the hormonal levels. do you know what they do with prolonged periods.

Abnormal menstrual periods can be a sign of a disorder. If you have very painful cramps it can be endometrisis. Have a checkup to clear things.

severe cramps can be a sign of endometriosis. this is because there is bleeding in other parts other than the uterus due to the presence of the endometrial cell in other parts of the reproductive organs.

the menstrual cycle is a result of the coordination of the reproductive system, the endocrine system, and the nervous system. If there is a disorder it might one of the system might not function well.
