Are myomas serious kind of tumors that can make a woman not able to conceive? Is having to undergo surgery is the only solution to eliminate this problem,or there are still other way?

yes, it can definitely cause infertility problems in women and it can also cause miscarriage.

Just want some clarification..myomas are term referring to uterine fibroids, right?

Actually there are different kinds of myomas. One is what we call uterine myomas are benign tumors that originate from the smooth muscle cells of the uterus.

yes, myomas are really one of the causes for infertility. But there are some of myomas who are not that serious and can still be treated.

I though myomas were usually treated via a complete hysterectomy?

my mom had a myoma and her uterus was taken out. She was 38 when she had it. now she needs supplements for estrogen.

My friend had it when she's 28 and luckily for her she was pregnant and had 2 kids already. I think, based on my friend's experience.. myomas don't really cause infertility.
