Since they alternate or because only one ovary produces the mature egg, then her one ovary should be fine. |

I think having two ovaries are better than having one. But, it's still not time for those women having one ovary to give up conceiving, because the doctors as you have said, gives you an assurance that she can still have chance of conceiving. |

My sister has one ovary with PCOS. She beat the odds and got pregnant after three years TTC. She went on a diet and lived a healthy lifestyle. It also helped I think that she was abroad and had less stress while she was TTC. Only came home to give birth. |

This is good. At least you know which ovary produces the egg all the time. But how does this fare in terms of harvesting eggs should it come to that? |
|

With only one ovary to be stimulated, there will be fewer eggs compared to harvesting from two ovaries. |

I agree that it is hard to get pregnant with one ovary but it is not impossible. this way you know which ovary is releasing the egg! |

I guess so, if others were able to get pregnant having just one ovary, it probably does. |

If her one ovary produces mature eggs every month then you have nothing to worry about. remember we only need one egg and one sperm! |
|
||
yes, no need to worry on it. it is better to have one ovary as long as there's no problem in producing mature egg, rather than two but not capable of producing mature egg. |

this is already proven that this is ok on some other women who had the same experience ...so why not? |
