My friend, who is 24 years of age was diagnosed to have a severe uterine prolapsed. What is this all about and can it cause infertility?

Your friend was so young to have been diagnosed having prolapsed uterus. I have known that women who usually suffer from this condition are older women.

Probably she is overweight or already have many children with that age, that's why she had this kind of finding. But if she's still single and don't experience getting pregnant yet, I think that becomes a very serious problem on her part because possible that she will no longer get pregnant.

It is a term used for collapsed uterus and a woman who has this, have the possibility to have infertility problem and it's very hard for her to get pregnant.

this means that your friend's uterus has slipped out of place. she may be able to have surgery depending on how far it has slipped out of place.

24 and already has uterine prolapse? has your friend suffered from severe sexual trauma? this is quite uncommon for women her age.
