can the size of a woman's uterus have an effect on fertility or ability to carry babies full term?

Yes, I think it can effect on fertility because the needed size of the uterus is that which the fetus can move easily and of which it can carry babies in a full term manner.

I also agree. It does matter. I guess, if a woman have small size uterus, she can carry the baby full term but surely can't deliver the baby in a normal way, for sure.. mostly CS section.

If the uterus has not developed into a sufficient size, then it can cause problems for the woman. There are also instances where the uterus has obstructions like fibroids and polyps which can also be factors in infertility issues.

I have to agree with Geraldine. Well, I have small uterus also..luckily, with frequent prenatal visit and my doctor's care, I was able to carry the baby in full term but with the two pregnancies that I have, they are both delivered by Cs operation.

Yes, it really matters because if the uterus is too small, the fetus may not survive till the end of terms.

Isnt there hormone therapy to clear the fibroids and increase the size of the uterus?
