I have known that the most common of the thyroid condition is thyroid nodules. It is characterized by lump, or swelling in the thyroid glands itself.

thyroid controls hormones. so if you have problems with thyroid your hormone levels are abnormal. This can cause fertility problems.

is it possible for the thyroid gland to have cancer?

SJ23 - October 17th, 2010 3:07 AM

yes it is possible for the thyroid gland to develop cancer. It is usually treated with radioactive iodine or surgical resectioning of the thyroid gland.

hypothyroidism of you are producing less hormones is an example.

usually all hormone problems are related to the thyroid gland.
