Hi, anything between 10-17 days is normal. Only be concerned if your LP is shorter than 10 days when its called a LP defect. A luteal phase defect cannot sustain a pregnancy because the uterine lining in these women begins to break down, bringing on the menstrual bleeding and causing an early miscarriage. Some doctors believe that even a 12 day luteal phase and below is hardly possible to sustain pregnancy. |

Your LP should stay pretty regular (mine is always 12 days). Is there a chance you ovulated a day or so later than you think? I noticed on your chart that CD22's temperature has a empty circle instead of a full one, was the temperature taken at a later time? |

I would actually recommend the alarm clock! I take mine at 7am every morning, been doing it that long now that it's a quick 30 seconds before i can go back to sleep again. It does make a difference taking your temps later/earlier, can be anything up to 0.5 degrees of a difference for me. |
