Just an FYI for everybody here: Tubal disease may account for about 20% of infertility.

So it pay attention to your body. Symptoms include: fever, lower back pain and pain during intercourse.

to have a tubal infection must have a cause, I should like to know how it can be prevented.

This is one of the many causes of infertility, this cause when your fallopian tubes become blocked or being damage.

The symptoms sounds like just any other symptom for say having the flu or an std infection. BTW, is STD related to tubal infection?

Benedictine - June 24th, 2010 2:43 PM

Before, having any symptoms, it is nice to be careful of what must be doing.

STD like PID (pelvic inflamatory disease) can cause tubal blockages and infections. When you suspect you have an STD, consult a doctor. Don't let a treatable disease hinder your chances of staying fertile.

"Symptoms include: fever, lower back pain and pain during intercourse."

this sounds very general and usually people will just brush it off to being too tired or maybe sex was rushed. is there any other symptom?

Gwynn - July 18th, 2010 3:10 AM

I agree with Jollen. STDs are very cureable and manageable. People should not be ashamed to seek treatment because it is quite common nowadays.
