Hi,

I came off this pill over two months ago and have not had a period for over 6 months & I am desperate to start trying to conceive.

Do you think if I go to the doctors, then they can give me something to start my cycle again? I am hoping to have a baby before I go to Uni next year, to study midwifery!!

Thanks

this happens to women who usually take this pill. it is not usual to have no period for up to a year. you should be fine once it wears off but i hear that it differs from woman to woman.

That's one of the many side effects of taking cerazette pill. If I were you, I would seek advice from the experts to know what's best thing to do to overcome it's side effects and to finally conceive.

That's why before taking any pills you need to think about it a couple of times, especially if you never ever had experience getting pregnant so that you will not suffer the bad effects of it in the future.

OH, so this has the same effect as depo-provera. But lots of women complain that these sorts of hormonal injections can take a very long time to flush out of the system. With a typical birth control pill you can get pregnant as soon as you get off it.

Cerzette is a minipill that contains progesterone only. It has a lower dosage compared to Depo Provera but since progesterone production depends from woman to woman, there may be cases like Pod's that cause a delay in the start of the menstrual cycle.
