this is off topic but i've recently developed migraines whenever I have my period. I have stopped taking fertility medication for a while to see if it is medicine related. It is not.

do you have some home remedy for migraine?

you need a quiet place to rest and some ibuprofen for the pain. turn off the lights and just stay still for 10 mins or so and you should feel the pain start to subside. take a short nap if you can.

A migraine is a severe, throbbing headache that usually begins on one side of the head(hence the name "migraine"- from the Greek hemikrania, or half the skull, but may affect the whole head. The precise underlying cause of migraines is unknown.

the best remedy for migraine is quiet. find a quiet place to dispell your migraine. Ive had a migraine and let me tell you I cant do it without meds.

the prevailing theory is that they are sparked by spasms in the arteries that supply blood to the brain. Some researchers believe a low level of the brain chemical serotonin is the reason the blood vessels constrict and widen abnormally.

Certain foods and beverages are notorios migraine triggers. So stay away those kinds of foods.

chamomile tea. it is very relaxing and can actually help with migraines.

my migraine is stress related so I always have a bag or two with me wherever I go.

when my wife has migraines, she usually gets a massage. it helps relax her. and if it is a head massage, it helps the migraine disappear faster.

You just have to relax and avoid yourself from too much stress..that's all.

I think it's good that you will just give yourself time to rest from all the stressful work you are having. It's helpful to avoid any migraines you also have experience at the moment.

Like Marcy, I recommend Chamomile tea because of its relaxing benefits. It has been used for years for relaxation and being relaxed helps migraines go away!
