I read on a forum elsewhere that Robitussin can help a woman get pregnant. The drug does not only helps with the common cold but it can also loosen cervical mucus. Actually any brand of expectorant that has guaifenesin as an active ingredient can be used.

This is cool! So mucus is mucus wherever you find it huh. I'm going to ask my doc for clearance on this as it is a drug but its really cool to try! thanks for the tip Glynda!

I agree Erica. It is a cool discovery. I wish Glynda would share the link... ahaha

wont the drug have any effect once you are pregnant. Assuming that it takes a while to get pregnant, wont that be bad for the baby and mom in the long run?

I agree with you all. I found it weird at first and then I was sort of fascinated by it. Cough syrup to me is just cough syrup, who knew that it would help with cervical mucus as well!

This is great news! I just hope that nobody uses cough syrup just to get pregnant. Medicine like this can have an effect not only on pregnancy but on the baby you are carrying. I hope you guys will consult a doctor before going ahead?
