Would you consider a surrogacy if it means increasing chances of having a child?

jennygirl - May 8th, 2010 9:34 AM

wow... that's hard. depends on how desperate i am and of course if my partner agrees. most probably for me, if it's the only viable option.

Stella - May 8th, 2010 11:46 AM

I agree with jennygirl. This is a loaded question and one that cannot be decided alone, unless of course you are single. If my husband/partner were OK with it then its fine with me. However, finding a "reliable" surrogate would be hard too.

I cant see myself using a surrogate... sorry.

Absolutely not! For me, if I want to have a child I want that child to really comes from me and not by other people. I can't take it.

Yes, If it's the only way I can have a baby and to have my dream of having a child fulfilled, then why not?

DaphneGayle - May 18th, 2010 9:39 AM

Well, for couples who want to put an end to unsuccessful infertility treatment, surrogacy can be of great help of having a child.

Monique - May 18th, 2010 9:42 AM

Yes, i think i will have to consider it. It's the closest way of having a biological child of your own when all other options fail.

Marielle - May 18th, 2010 9:49 AM

To ask for a surrogacy, I think it's very hard for the couples to decide. Since it's all about having an egg donor just to have a baby.

Ysah - May 18th, 2010 9:53 AM

No, even if there is no other option, I will not consider surrogacy just to have a baby.

Fhina - May 18th, 2010 9:59 AM

Surrogacy is such a big and hard issue for couples who want to have a child. Some would accept it, but many would not want to have other person be part of making such dream come true.
