Hi I've just been diagnosed with pof. I've found two American ivf clinics who will still offer treatment. Has anyone found a sympathetic uk clinic or is the only option here donor eggs?
Thank you and good luck to you all on your baby journey! Karen

Hi Karen. I can highly recommend ARGC in London... they are understanding, caring, supportive and most of all they do their very best help those of us who's ovaries and hormones are a bit wonky! Daily blood checks and regular scanning ensures that they are in complete control. I have just finished my monitoring cycle with them and am waiting for the optimum month to go ahead - they have given me so much confidence and have proved that I can produce eggs when other clinics have said I didn't stand a chance. Don't give up!

Wishing you the best of luck.
Clare

Hi Clare
Thank you so much for posting a reply! Can I ask what your diagnosis is and how they think they can help? I think I'll definitely be giving them a call on Monday.
Good luck with your journey!
Karen

Hi Karen. I have had high FSH up to 14.5 (acupuncture and Chinese medicine has really helped get this below 10) and I am a poor responder to ivf drugs with a low egg reserve (AMH tested at 0.7).

My last clinic stopped both ivf cycles and said our only chance would be through egg donor.

The ARGC like your FSH around 10 or below but I have found that mine goes up and down month to month. I was hoping to start treatment today but they have advised not to go ahead this month as my hormones aren't that great. They were so positive and said not to worry as they will wait for a better month. It is a relief to know that you are being closely monitored - their top consultant is amazing and makes all of the decisions to give us the best chance.

My husband and I have gone from feeling helpless to hopefull!

ARGC is a little pricy as the daily blood tests add up but I truly feel that they are unique in their approach.

With best wishes
Clare
