what does increased white blood cell count mean? I am 4 months into my pregnancy. just done with the regular checks and tests. my doctor called me up and mentioned it though she didn't elaborate on the increased white blood count. I guess it is nothing serious.

have you fellow women pregnant or have been, also experienced an increase in white blood cell count ?

Increase in white blood cells could mean there is an infection in your body. Ask your doctor directly. If she mentioned it to you but didn't explain, call her up and ask her the reason for the increase in count.
