if your having doubts with the test you did, I think it would be better to go to the clinic and confirm your suspicion. or you could try taking the test with 5 other test with different brands |

There can be several reason behind the appearance of a faint line on pregnancy test. The foremost cause is testing yourself for pregnancy too early, i.e., 6-7 days after sexual intercourse. At such a stage, the level of hCG is mostly not high enough to deliver a clear positive pregnancy test. Therefore, you should wait for at least 15 days or till you miss a period to get an accurate result and not a faint line on home pregnancy test. |

i have learned from my friend just like this case. That faint line indicates positive. So, this follows that you are really pregnant. |

In most cases, if the manufacturers instructions were followed properly, a faint line is a positive pregnancy test. Generally, any line that shows up is a result of HCG being detected in your urine. If you are unsure if you see a line or for further confirmation, it is a good idea to take a second test in a day or two. |

Reason you might see a faint line on a home pregnancy test is testing too early w/c is one of the most common reasons for not getting accurate results from a home pregnancy test. Testing should be done no earlier than ten days after ovulation or ideally after having missed your period. |

here's another common problem with testing is miscalculating when your period is due. BBT charting and writing down your cycle dates can help with any confusion. |
