If I am not mistaken the cause of cervical cancer is HPV. It is a sexually transmitted disease that can cause infertility aside from cervical cancer. |

I think it is still possible to get pregnant but women usually run into problems like loss of cervical mucus, cervical stenosis or blocked fallopian tubes. Usually they will tell women to try to get pregnant 6 months after surgery so that the cervix can heal. |

When it comes to cancer I believe that early detection is the key. If they find your cancer early then you will have a good chance of preserving fertility. |
