Frozen embryos may have come from IVF procedures and some couples would choose to implant only one and leave the other for future circumstances. I don't feel comfortable with such practice. |

They have to implant more than one egg to be sure that the procedure could produce at least one baby. This is not a perfect procedure so it could possibly fail and to minimize the odds of failing it is better to be sure. |

so if other couples will have those "extra" embryos for adoption, they can have such option? |

i think cryogenics is not yet perfect so i dont consider this an alternative treatment to infertility. |

Yes jen, it is like having to buy some blood in a blood bank. But before the frozen embryo is released the couple should have the approval of the parents of the frozen embryo. |
