I heard that some states have infertility insurance. At Arkansas by law all insurance companies are required to have maternity benefits that cover vitro fertilization.

California, Hawaii, Illinois and Connecticut also covers some infertility issues but in some cases only partial.

Good for Arkansas. Aside from state regulations, you can also choose an insurance provider that can cover these sorts of treatments. As we know fertility treatment can be expensive, so it does not hurt to be cautious.

I've heard this already, and I'm proud that this is given much attention. So infertility insurance is created and there are many costumers of this insurance.

It varies from state to state and insurance company to insurance company. We have two different health insurance companies that cover different sets. I think only one of them have the infertility clause.

I actually regret not opting for the full coverage on the infertility. When you are young, this is the last thing on your mind.

I am in Hawaii and only one IVF treatment is covered by the insurance company. Also, only around 50% of the cost of medication for fertility drugs is covered.

I only get partial coverage but its better than nothing. Fertility treatments and drugs can drain your savings and reserves!
