Hi!

does anyone knows what should be the most effective infertility treatment of a woman whose age is 20 ? tnx...

Bam Twig - February 9th, 2011 9:38 AM

As i remembered, it is medically proven that the best time for a woman to bear children is between the ages of 20 and 35. By the age of 20, most women have reached full physiological and sexual maturity and fertility increases at this young age. Within this age bracket is an optimum age for a woman to become pregnant.

i never heard yet of infertility at the age of 2o. this is still young and honestly, the fertility rate at 20 is very high, compared to the old age. in fact, studies shown that age increases, the fertility decreases.

me too, i researched this infertility treatment of age 20 but never found any one. In addition, due to the long incubation period of eggs (they have been present since fetal development) , they lose their quality as a woman gets older.

With the emphasis in the media on age and fertility, it’s not hard to see where people may think that infertility is limited to older couples. Just about every month there seems to be a news story reporting on women over 35 and their diminishing fertility.

So when a couple in their 20s or early 30s has trouble getting pregnant, it may come as a surprise; however, infertility in younger women is not so uncommon. While it’s true that infertility is more common after 35, infertility can strike at any age.

According to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine’s report on Age and Fertility, 7% of women between the ages of 20 and 24 are infertile. Between the ages of 25 and 29, that number increases to 9%, and in the early 30s, between ages 30 and 34, infertility among married women increases to 15%.

meaning, younger age is not more prone to infertility compared to old age..

for me, infertility affects women and men of all ages. So, no, you can’t be too young for infertility. Fertility problems can occur at any age.

infertility is seldom heard for your age... i don't have any idea what's best for your age coz you're still young to have this. But i can only advise you to refer this to an obgyne, for sure he/she can help you :)
