Hi everyone!

is drinking tap water while trying to conceive is okay? imean safe? I live in where the tap water should be ok but since I'm battling with infertility, I've started to consider cutting most of the tap water out of my diet.

I drink a heck of a lot of water so I'm just concerned that I'm poisoning my body. However, now that I'm trying to just drink bottled water (Poland spring), I drink much less water than I'm used to and I always feel parched! It's like we can't win ;D

any idea is much appreciated..thanks you!

I have no idea what the answer is to this question. But if you are worried about it, I would cut it out.

I dont drink any tap water I only use it for boiling and washing clothes.

I love water but i hate tap water especially here...Right before summer the apartment complex we live in did some land scaping and for some reason after that the tap water started tasting and smelling like soil... :(

even bottled water may have a lot of bacteria and pollutants that can come from the bottles. I still drink them though...

for safety, just use a BPA free bottle with a filter, or fill your glass up with water that comes out of a filter.

Unless water from the tap is really dirty, then I will agree with most people here that it is okay. IMHO it is better to drink purified or distilled water.

In fact here in my locality (we are just a small town), most of the people prefer not to drink water from the tap. We buy drinking water that has been purified. It will be additional expense but it's not that much. Plus, compare that to costs of medicine and hospitalization. I'd rather pay for my drinking water, thank you.
