is this safe like many women that right after birth they get pregnant again?

jen - April 17th, 2011 4:32 PM

ideally it's best to take some rest after giving birth. however there are really women just right after giving birth and right after 2 weeks get pregnant again. There ovulation bring back so fast and there is risk of infection and other complications if you jump right back into the sack right away.

it's true jen especially true if you had an episiotomy.

Most of the time the doctor recommends that you wait at least six weeks after you have your baby before having sex. So getting pregnant right after birth is not safe.

so does this mean no other way to be safe in getting pregnant right after birth? but why does my bestfriend Lara is still safe and honestly it happens to her 3 times already.?

However there is a safety concern in which getting pregnant right after giving birth. The labor and delivery process force your uterus and your cervix go through tremendous changes that's why some women did not notice there ovulation and get pregnant back so fast. But this is safe.

this is a risk cause specifically, the lining of the uterus may be particularly prone to infection during this time. And they need time to heal. so i can say this is ideal maybe but still safe.

the use of tampons during delivery , or the placement of anything in the vagina can introduce bacteria and cause a uterine infection..that's why it's not advisable to get pregnant right after birth.

as said that the most concern why it's not ideal to get pregnant right after birth is the UTERUS. howver, you can try the use of Lochia- material that flows from your uterus after delivery in which you can determine that the uerus is healead. When the flow of Lochia is not red any longer, it indicates that the uterus is nearly healed,it takes 3 to 8 weeks for most women.

like my doctor's advise it is safer to get pregnant if we Wait for the uterus and cervix to heal sufficiently. These are important parts of determining when it is safe to get pregnant after giving birth.

ethelbaby - April 18th, 2011 10:45 AM

If you get pregnant right after birth like before the healing of uterus and cervix takes place, you are at increased risk for infections or even miscarriage.
