This medications or prescription may be passed through the placenta and on to her baby. But not all do pass through the placenta, and not all of those that do have any negative effects on the baby. |

In the US what they did, they labeled their medications from A to X. Each indicate a different safety level in terms of taking them while pregnant or getting pregnant. In addition, many over-the-counter medications are placed into one of these categories, as well. Just to be safe! |
