what is an effective treatment for amenhorrea?

Artemis - September 6th, 2010 3:22 AM

if i remember correctly this is abnormal periods right? sometimes you have periods sometimes you skip? I think this can be normalized through BCP?

Wells - September 8th, 2010 3:43 AM

amenhorrea is no periods. but like Artemis said this can probably be corrected with birth control pills.

Nonielona - September 8th, 2010 2:23 PM

When the woman takes the 22 pill, her hormonal level will drop rapidly. Menstruation then takes place.

Perhaps some hormone therapy can help.

Periods can also be corrected through proper diet and exercise. This is because food can regulate hormone levels in the body by providing the right vitamins and minerals.

What is the main cause of amehorreah?

EraViem - September 14th, 2010 11:44 AM

this kind of infertility can be treated through birth control pills. this is true for I myself has been treated.

maybe FSH treatment will work. If the ovaries are stimulated then the ovaries will start to thicken their lining and have menstruation.

In some cases, it is treated with BCP, patch and other similar methods. Diet is also adviced to women with amenhorrea. If it is caused by fibroids then surgery may be required.

to candyKane:

main cause can be rapid weight loss/gain, over strenouous exercise, improper nutrition, eating disorder (anorexia/bulimia) and pituitary gland problems =)
