if you are monitoring cervical mucus in order to help tell your fertile days, do your checks before you shower, bathe, or swim as these activities can affect mucus quality!

It is better that the woman is consistent in checking cervical mucus because it really plays an important role in enabling to get pregnant.

Yes, i do the checking most of the time because it's very important for me to know if I'm really capable of getting pregnant.

Good tip. IMO, cervical mucus monitoring is beneficial aside from the usual calendar and bbt. If one method is not accurate, then you have other ways as a failsafe. plus the more data you have, the more accurate you will be when it comes to timing sex during ovulation period.

do mucus check and calendar method. this will make it easier for you to exact when to start checking for mucus consistency. if its egg like then you are probably ovulating or close to ovulation. :)

to be more sure, check the cervix itself. if it is smooth and raised, then you are ovulating.

Cervical monitoring is often neglected especially since women go to the bathroom to pee and then just wipe without checking.

however, i agree that checking cervical mucus consistency can help you determine ovulation.
