Well since my m/c on 4th June I have just started my 1st period. I dont know why but I just feel it's too heavy, I dont think it's a m/c as I am very sure I would of known and besides we have hardly at all......

I know this is a really odd ? but how heavy are your periods normally? I have always had very heavy ones...or what I think is heavy but how do I know to compare?! Sorry this is such an odd post and if TMI

So I have passed small clots (like staple size) and larger closts like 20p size....so basically what I am asking is this normal for anyone else or do you think this could be too heavy and a cause for concern?

I feel like a teenager posting this but need a bit of feedback please ladies

Thank you !

Unfortunately I can't give you any advise, but I'm so glad everyting seems to be moving in the right direction for you

I think I might take some of your advise as I have had all my bloods done and had a scan but I am STILL waiting for the next stage...think I'll start getting a bit tougher

Thanks & good luck ;D

maybe your uterus is having a good clear out hun but I must say after my two mc's I didn't pass big clots and that wouldn't be my normal AF either.

If you're worried go and see the Dr or ring NHS direct, they're always so helpful.

I know what you mean about feeling like a teenager! I'm the same way, but my periods have been much lighter, and not sure if that's a cause for a problem?

It sounds ok to me, what you described though. As long as it doesn't last too terribly long. If if comes and goes over the days, then that's ok, it's if it's a consistent flow that they want you to come in for. They said to me, something like, if you soak a pad full in a half an hour that's too much.

Are you having much pain? It may just be that you didn't flush all of it out when you miscarried and this is just ridding every last bit out now. Sorry if I'm blabbering!

My first one after our m/c was incredibly heavy - and with clots. I've never had anything like it before. I think it's normal, depending on your body and it just means you're flushing everything out.

Betsky, it's best if you consult to a doctor becasue maybe there are little left inside your uterus as you just experience misscarriage.. just to be sure ..

you really must consult htis to your doctor.. just don't think it to yourself coz we dont' know there are really left inside your uterus..

hey this sounds pretty normal i think... my first proper af after my loss too was very heavy and i was concerned but after a couple of days it went lighter. i think its just your body adjusting

my wife first one was the same...i was doubled up in pain with the cramps n had a a few clots but it only lasted a few days then it got really light...ive just had my second af n i didnt have a single cramp but bled for 7 days (not too light not too heavy) like everyone else has said i think its just your body having a gd old clean out and getting back to normal...hope ur ok hun...btw i watched that interview!! u look fab and im so glad its comforted u hun...take care
