so ive been reviewing signs of ovulation on the internet and found that mild abdominal pain lasting to about 24 hours about the time of ovulation is a good sign that you are good to go. have you ever experienced this?

I get pain in usually my left side during ovulation. It feels like mild stitch on my side and lasts up to two hours. It has been a good sign for us but so far no success.

this sounds helpful. but other than the change in bbt, mucus and the usual pms, i have not felt this kind of pain.

i've never experienced this too. in my case, the pain usually comes a few hours before my period starts. i get cramps 2-5 hours early warning because of the cramps.

my wife says that she has mild backpain before she gets her period but no pain during ovulating. maybe this is rare?

I experience mild cramping during ovulation. It only lasts a few hours though but its always a good sign for me.

I don't have pain whatsoever! I get cramps on the first and second day of my cycle. that's it.

I don't feel pain either. If having to feel some pain a good sign, then does it mean that women who don't feel any pain can't get pregnant?

jinky - October 20th, 2010 10:26 AM

Really? I have felt the pain too but I did not get pregnant. Is it bad luck?

This is true. There have been instances when my wife has complained of abdominal pain particularly on her sides. We try to have sex when she has this sort of pain.
