IMO, a Reproductive Endocrinologist is better than an OBGYN. This is because they are specifically trained to handle infertility. |
|

REs are definately the best choice. But in towns where there are no REs perhaps a reputable OB/GYN is also the best person for the job. |

I live two hours away from an RE and commute everytime I need consultation or treatment. It can be a hassle. Thankfully there's the railway to make commute easier and less stressful. |

We were diagnosed as infertile by a GYN but get treatment from a licensed RE. I say licensed because there were a few people at the clinic that got duped by a fake one. |
|
||
My first doctor was a GYN who told me about my infertility. I got second opinion from an RE. and a third opinion from an RE. |

RE. They are better qualified than an OB or a Gynecologist. They are more expensive but your chances are better with them compared to an OB/GYN that only sees a couple of cases of infertility per year. |

||
Go to a reputable RE directly. the OB will refer to one anyway. |

RE. Obs are for pregnant women while REs are especially for those trying to get pregnant. Its a specialty. |

infertility issues was discovered by an Ob-Gyn and I was referred to an RE. While Ob-gyns are familiar with the problem, I think REs have more experience. |

thanks! We are now with an RE and even though we live in a small city we have one right here. And I do agree that since infertility is their specialty then they would be the best people to consult with this kind of problem. |
