IMO, all stages are critical. There is always something happening to the baby inside the womb whatever age the baby is or whatever trimester the mother is in. |

Hey there! |

The first trimester is critical indeed. But after this, developed organs continue to mature. During the second trimester, your baby will learn things it needs to surive outside the womb. |

By the sixth month, when the fetus has grown to 36mm long and 30-690 grams in weight, the skeleton and tiny fine hairs begin to form. Eyelids and eyelashes also start to form. The baby's skin is red and wrinkled. This is in the 2nd trimester. |

the 1st trimester comprises the 1st three months of conception. During the 1st few weeks of development, the embryo is observed as a small disk with a groove forming down the middle. the spinal cord and the brain also start to develop. its bending position toward the tail is visible. by the end of the first month, the embryo is about 5 mm. long, and the tail, gills, notochord and segments in the embryo's body begin to develop. |

this stage is critical because the brain in this period started to develop. And to know that the the brain controls our body function. |

I agree with this because it is the time when the embryo's the head grow and the time when the mother should not take any medication unless it is prescribed by the physician. Take extra careful Moms! |
