Since x-rays are a source of radiation, how much x-ray exposure does it take for it to impact fertility?

As long as you get them only a couple of times a year then it should be no problem. X-rays are low dose anyway.

I think you need to have more than a lifetime's worth of x-rays in order for it to impact on your chances of getting pregnant. Which is good news since most of us are required to have x-rays at least once a year!

But I read somewhere that Americans are exposed to more MRI's more X-rays and more CAT scans than any other nationality in the world. This is because we use CAT scans just for a simple headache! We should be more careful next time and only get these sorts of treatments ONLY when absolutely NECESSARY!

X-rays can be dangerous which is why there is a lead protective covering on the person who administers the x-ray. So I think it can have some effect, especially if you have to take lots of x-rays.

If ever keep away from the things that can have a radiation. Radiation can deform an egg cells and also the sperm cells.

X-ray are having very low doses of radiation. They are not likely to cause to much damage in infertility with just single exposure..but I guess, with too much exposure already, that I think can already caused a lot of damage. So, beware!
