If a woman has cervical cancer, is it the end of the road for getting pregnant?

If detected and treated early, the woman should have no problem getting pregnant in the future.

Yes, but there is also a process given called preserving options such as embryo freezing, etc where the physicians remove the ovaries away from the target zone for radiation therapy treatment.

Cervical cancer can also cause a woman to have a hysterectomy. with no uterus, this makes it impossible for her to have kids.

Plus the chemo and the radiation therapy can damage her ovaries. This is why the risks should be clear to women and men who are undergoing these sorts of treatments as the risks are high.

As far as I know it is the end of the chances to become pregnant of the particular woman who has a cancer, we have to understand the situation, but if ever a pregnancy is possible in an instance we would be worried of the condition of the fetus, our mind would not be set.

With cancer, early detection can save lives. i think that if your cancer is caught early then you can have options like preserving embryos so that you can have them reinserted after treatment.
