How can eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia contribute to infertility?

probably because most of these women battle depression and low self esteem along with their eating disorders. We all know that stress has a negative effect on fertility.

It can contribute to infertility because it's a kind of disorder that's in relation to too much depression. Having this kind of disorder, being super thin or super fat, can be one of the causes of having infertility problem.

Having such problems of anorexia and bulimia can surely lead to infertility problem because a woman having such disorder is having a poor dieting practices also.

One of the causes of infertility is eating disorder, it can contribute because the nutrients which are required to our physical body are lacking. And if our body hasn't enough nutrients then we can not be able to do a fertilization within.

Well, I believe that it's because of the psychological factors such as depression and anxiety directly contribute to infertility problems.

As with women who have anorexia, women with bulimia often lose their periods completely or have erratic ones.
