how can ectopic pregnancy impair female fertility? can you still get pregnant after an ectopic pregnancy?

I had an ectopic pregnancy before. The fetus had to be aborted so they had to remove the affected fallopian tube.

Yes you can still get pregnant but more challenging now seeing that I only have one fallopian tube left.

I was wondering because I had heard that women with fallopian tube problems are prone to this kind of pregnancy. I had blocked fallopian tubes and had to undergo surgery.

Cases wherein the mother had a tubal ligation reversed also suffered from ectopic pregnancy. However there is really no known cause for this.
