If you have high FSH, does this mean that your egg quality is declining? how can you get it back down? can hcg treatments help?

Dionne&Dylan - October 25th, 2010 2:27 AM

yes. usually high fsh levels mean that you have declining egg quality. this also means that you are approaching menopause.

dianne - October 26th, 2010 2:45 AM

So, what does it mean..it's very impossible for you to get pregnant?

to: dianne

Not impossible just harder. Since you have declining FSH, HCG needs to be upped in order to stop the decline of the egg quality.

how high does FSH have to be in order for it to mean that menopause has begun?

Guinevere - October 28th, 2010 3:48 AM

I dunno how high it is supposed to be but high FSH levels are quite normal in women over 45. So yes, it is menopause related.

heatherlyn - October 28th, 2010 5:59 AM

I don't know but if it's already menopause related, I think there's nothing you can do about it..it's no more treatment that can help you in getting pregnant.

hey Dionne&Dylan!

you can get it back up by increasing blood flow to the uterus. You can try acupuncture for this. Also, royal jelly is said to improve fsh levels so you can take supplements as well. Herbal medicine that balances hormone levels are also good.
