Congratulations on your BFP!

Next thing to do is ring your doctor and go and see them and they will book you in with your midwife!!

If you arent already its advisable to start taking folic acid.

Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months and beyond ;D

welcome to BnB... The next step would be to make an appointment with your doctor to confirm the pregnancy and set you up with a midwife. You should also be taking prenatal vitamins which contain folic acid. Good luck dear!

Welcome to BnB!
Congrats on your !
Contact your doctor, and I would start taking pre-natal vitamins.. and stop anything like drinking, smoking (if you can!!)... and other things that put your baby at risk!

Congratulations! You can often self refer to a midwife so no need to go to the doc. No need to 'confirm' the pregnancy either. Give your local maternity unit a ring.

CONGRATS! It's a great success... next thing is consult to your doctor to be given a prenatal vitamins for you and your baby and have a regular prenatal check up.

Great!!! i remember the feeling when you know you' re pregnant. Well, what i did before was the doctor prescribed me to take folic acid vitamins and vitamin C. Folic acid helps the development of the baby especially the brain.

Belle.sweet - March 17th, 2011 3:37 PM

same with me Ronalyn :)

at first i used pregnancy test by my own and just the next day i consulted an obgyne, then suggested to have ultrasound...i forgot the name for that for first trimester..im' sorry.. then after that when i confirmed it, the doctor given me vitamins especially folic acid.

the usual next step really is taking vitamins. this will help you and your baby inside. You can refer this to an obgyne coz they are the expert, it's really safe to take at a doctor's prescription.

Shairmaine - March 17th, 2011 4:25 PM

the most important step when you confirmed that you are pregnant is to take careful of yourself as you do to your baby inside. Yes, vitamins should follow and really best to consult to a doctor for you to help you in your pregnancy.
