what is a molar pregnancy and how is it related to infertility?

KIT - October 31st, 2010 3:57 PM

this means that a non-viable fertilized egg has implanted itself in the uterus. this can lead to problems like miscarriage.

So if it is a defective egg there will be a miscarriage. how is it that it was fertilized in the first place?

This is an abnormal form of pregnancy, correct?
How does it be treated?

I've never heard of a molar pregnancy before. It is like ectopic pregnancy but the difference is that a non-viable egg was fertilized. so it will still end up being aborted by the body.
