If a woman has PID in the past and was already cured from such, is there a possibility that it can make her infertile?

supermom - May 31st, 2010 10:13 PM

well sad but it is possible sugar because pid is one of the common cause of infertility. on the other hand it will also depend on the extent of infection a woman has, if the infection was cured right away then she may have a low risk to be infertile.

If it really reached its peak of the infection, so it surely affects fertility, right?

there is no need to worry much, a woman can undergo some tests and find a solution for such. i'm sure it is not the first time that such situation occurs.

this is a very serious disease and it could really impair a woman's fertility. not to mention that PID is a possible cause of ectopic pregnancy.

I see, actually it is me who had a PID last 4 years ago. It was really a nightmare and now I don't really feel I had it in the past so I hope I'll be fine.

what are the causes of having PID? is there something that we can do in order to avoid having such disease?

saLLy - June 3rd, 2010 11:21 PM

PID is caused by bacteria and some cases these bad bacteria are acquired through sexual intercourse. so in order to avoid it we should take good care of our vagina, keep it on its normal ph level.

correct and if ever you have multiple partners you should be very careful and use some protection to avoid having diseases as this.
