I am not so sure about the infertility. But women with high testosterone develop male characteristics like male pattern baldness, deep voice, change in body shape and increase in hair growth. High testosterone is also linked to insulin resistance. |

I had a classmate in high school that had an Adam's Apple though she is female... |

oh poor classmate of SmartAlex. What happened to her. Does she have kids now? |

These women who have high testosterone levels are they more prone to becoming lesbians as well? Not trying to be sexist here or anything. Just wondering if it is a cause. |

I think this is the hormones that cause women to have more hair than usual. Have you seen em gals who have too much upper lip hair? It is like they've grown a mustache. I am always surprised why they don't wax it off of their face. It really looks disturbing to me. As women, they should be taking care of themselves properly. No excuses, testosterone or no testosterone! |

Must be a hormonal imbalance. Women have testosterone too but in very low levels compared to males. |

testosterone levels have nothing to do with sexual preference. women who have high testosterone levels look more masculine and in some cases, can be mistaken as men because they have facial hair, an Adam's apple and bulkier muscles. |

I don't think so that high testosterone level leads to infertility, in fact, some women who have high levels of testosterone may be more prone to having sons instead of daughters, due to the testosterone levels. |
